The EasyCityPass does include a few unique partners not found on the WelcomeCard — notably Fotografiska Berlin (15%), Weltballon (25%), AVA Club (50%), Wellenwerk indoor surfing (15%) and Estrel Showtheater (20%). These are nice extras, but they are niche compared to the major museums and landmarks exclusive to the WelcomeCard.
The Bottom Line
If discount variety matters to you, the Berlin WelcomeCard is the clear winner. It covers more than twice the number of partners (170+ vs 80+), offers higher discounts at almost every shared attraction, and includes Berlin’s biggest museums and landmarks that the EasyCityPass does not cover at all — like the Berlin Television Tower, Jewish Museum, Humboldt Forum, Deutsches Technikmuseum and Berlin Cathedral.
The EasyCityPass is a solid choice if you are on a tight budget and mostly interested in hop-on-hop-off tours and a few smaller attractions. Its lower base price can be attractive. But when you factor in the discount savings at major sights, the WelcomeCard typically delivers better overall value.
